We are down to our last days being Pregnant me and Only Child Noah.
Baby #2 is coming fast, and it looks like Thursday will be the big day. I'm being induced a few days before my due date. My doctor is going out of town on Friday and will be gone until a few days after my due date. He has no problem with early inductions for non-first time mothers who have nice ripe cervixes :) (As of last Thursday, I was dilated to 3 and 90% effaced, so I'm getting there. And I have had a few noticable contractions, although I'm sure they are a wimpy disgrace to the word contraction!) Inducing was kind of a hard decision to make, because I like the idea of waiting for nature to do its thing. But nature didn't really kick in for Noah, so we'll go ahead and give it a little push in the right direction again. I kind of know what to expect with an induction, but labor and delivery isn't exactly predictable, even with that set dose of pitocin, so when Thursday comes around I guess we'll just have another story to tell.
I just keep looking at Noah and thinking "Oh man, you have no idea what is coming." I can't help feeling sorry for him. I guess that's ridiculous because siblings are good things. But just look at him, how happy and unsuspecting the little guy is.

Also I've been thinking a lot about the second time mom fear: "I can't imagine loving another child as much as I love my first". But from what I hear it works out alright so I'm not too worried about this one, just amazed that it isn't true, and interested in finding out by my own experience.
So we are looking forward to what's ahead. We are happy to add another little person to our family! Here's a picture of the 3 of us, before we become 4.

Good luck on Wednesday. I've been thinking of you all weekend and will continue to all week. Know that I love you and your sweet little family. You'll do so wonderfully well with your new little love.

Finally the unveiling of the pregnant Kate! You look great of course. Why so small? Your belly is so high and normal looking still! But then again I did just re-look at those pics of Laura. Noah is so cute. I am excited to have another kid just to do that second year of life all over again. So cute! I loved reading all those things about Noah. It brought back so many memories. You are going to be so in love with your little one I'm sure! Please call me on inducement eve.
Yay! How exciting. I must say you are much braver than I...I can't imagine having 2 to take care of right now, but if anyone can do it, it would be you! You are such a great mom and do so many cute things with Noah. #2 is just going to be a walk in the park for you!
I remember looking at Michael and thinking he has no idea whats coming. But, now Michael and Jada play really well together its cute.You will be fine and I'm excited for you.
