Summer vacation is here! Which means that we get Kyle all to ourselves for the next few months! We had a party to celebrate Kyle's last day of school, luau-themed to welcome summer. We were all in our bathing suits (and even me, post-pregnancy! Which explains why the guest list was very exclusive-only the guest of honor and children under the age of two were witnesses!) We are so excited to spend more time with Kyle. It is amazing how refreshing it is to have another adult in the house all day. I don't have to countdown the hours until he comes home anymore! Kyle is so much fun to have around, and is also a huge help. It's amazing how much easier it is when the child-to-parent ratio is 1-1! Anyway, we love him and are so happy we will be seeing more of him!

Kate, that is so nice! Nice of you to do something for Kyle as always, but I mean nice that he's going to be home! You should plan all of your child-having around his summers off!
How great to have your husband home. I wish husbands could get paid to stay home and spend time with their wife all day! You're so cute thinking of things like the party to celebrate.
