Farmer Noah

Noah has developed this horse obsession since we have lived in Ivins. We share our neighborhood with some horses. It makes our walks a lot more exciting, not to mention our drives. It's a piece of cake to get Noah into the car--All we have to say is: "do you want to go see the horses?" and he answers with a firm "yeah" and a nod of the head, then drops anything that he was busy with and makes a beeline for the door, making the horse noise as he goes. However, his love for horses has gotten slightly offensive. When you ask him a question like: "Do you want to go pick up Dada from work?" or "Do you want to go see Grammy?" his answer is the horse noise, like he could care less about whoever else is involved, as long as the horses are part of the plan. We look at horse pictures on the computer, give Noah horsey rides, read farm books, sing horse songs, go on wagon rides to see the horses, sculpt clay horses, and draw horse pictures. I think we're raising a farmer.

Breah misses Noah, and I miss you. I hope you can make it to the cookie party on wednesday (call me if you didn't get the invite!) so we can catch up!

Yes. Horses are good. I love his overalls. He's not all country.

Maybe he'll be a rancher...can't you just see him, riding his horse, rounding up cattle? I love teaching kids about the farm, I grew up on one.
And you're not big Kate. I look like I have an over-inflated basketball sitting on my front.

So why aren't my niece and nephew bringing this darling guy down to visit their aunt and see a horse as much as his little heart desires? You even have a free place to stay!!! I miss you, come soon before you can use the excuse
It's too close to my due date!" By the way you look great.

That is so cute. Isn't this stage so fun?! It still gets more and more fun, but there are a few stages I look back on fondly: 10 months and 16 months..... And 20 months, 27 months, etc.

I am so glad I got to see Farmer Noah in action... I wish I could hear that horse noise a hundred times a day.
Thanks for the great pictures that take me back.
I love you all, always.

Kate, it's his Kentucky heritage coming out! We are known for our horses after all. :) Maybe he'll raise a future Derby winner!
