While being up north on our little vacation, Noah got a new car seat. I don't know why, but we thought it was so adorable and worthy of a photo shoot. I think it is because he seems happier. It used to be that all Kyle and I saw was the back of his head in the little infant seat, and now when we turn around, he's sitting up so tall and looking right back at us. He loves the new view. And I'm sure he was getting tired of being smashed into the old infant car seat. I got a strange look recently when I carried him into a store in the baby seat. When the lady at the checkout said: "Awww, how old is your baby?" and when I pulled back the cover to give her a better look and revealed my almost-toddler, she seemed startled. So it was time for the upgrade. Thanks to Cousin Julie for helping me pick out the new seat. I get buyers' remorse after almost every purchase I make (especially those over 20 dollars. I'm kind of lame that way!), so I thought about returning it. Not to mention my reluctance to do anything that makes Noah seem older and more grown up! But with a little convincing from Kyle and other Campbells, and then after seeing Noah all cute and happy, I think we'll keep it.

You're so funny.
Oh yes. Life is exponentially better after making the move to forward facing.
Awww! I'd reckon he's pretty excited to be looking forward.
I have buyer's remorse too on anything that's not groceries or household stuff. Over $10 for myself? Nearly unthinkable. It may be a good thing though, especially on a student budget. Call us this weekend, we got Kyle's new cell #, but are locked out of our text message box for some inane reason. So we really don't have the new #.
look how big he looks!
So happy you found our blog so I could FINALLY find yours. I've asked many a time for Scott to figure it out but I'm glad you got him off the hook! And could Noah be any cuter??? I think NOT! He is SO going to have to meet Ellie, and we'll see were it goes! Or just force them into marriage! :) By the way-love the car seat! I can't wait till Ellie can be in one, she's not such a fan of the infant one. But it is hard to know they are growing up.....and when I'm dealing with one that is just a bit older...i think i like them as babies...not talking kids! ;) We'll be checking back--be sure not to disappoint us!! So far so good. Hope all is well.
HE is so cute. Come and play soon. WE miss you guys!
Yay for the front-facing car seat! Ty has two more pounds and another month to go before he can be in one. I can't wait though. He hates being rear-facing. Or maybe it's just me that hates it because I can't see what he's doing, or what he's upset about, or anything. It's annoying! Hey, I was so sad that you weren't in St. George the only weekend we've been there since you moved there!!! In all fairness, it was a last minute trip so I couldn't really give you a heads up. We'll have to come down again soon.
Wow, Noah is big. Dang it, I gotta get up there and visit you guys. Maybe I can fit in a BYU game and say what's up. Noah's rooting for the Cougars too? So he should be down for that. See ya man. My blog is at tigelms.blogspot.com
